Courses designed for children
Our children’s workshops vary in length depending on your needs, and typically involve
1-
We frequently organise workshops in schools during Arts weeks/days, but are happy to arrange them to fit in with other parts of the curriculum, and this can avoid disappointment as we tend to be very busy during the period May to July with many schools organising activities during the summer months. Each workshop starts with a detailed description of the project, followed by demonstrations for children and helpers alike. We also always bring large displays and examples of work as these are invaluable in providing inspiration to children.
We work to a range of themes, especially cultural (e.g. Africa, India, Aboriginal etc.) and environmental (e.g. the sea, jungle etc.), although we can organise workshops around other themes. Where ever possible the art is created using recyclable materials.
