This project for Key Stages 1 and 2 introduces the process of block-printing onto fabric based on historical and cultural sources. The block-printing theme is developed to include the use of mixed media and can be experienced with the minimum of equipment and materials. The Project Teaching Pack describes the process of block-printing and gives you numerous ideas and detailed, easy to follow instructions. It contains photographs of the different stages of the process. The pack also contains great photographs of artwork produced by children, and a few are also shown the photo gallery. With the exception of consumable materials and equipment the pack includes everything necessary to try block-printing.
