Felt-making Project Teaching Pack

Felt-making is an exciting classroom project that can be undertaken at all Key Stages. This Project Teaching Pack contains easy to follow instructions and clear illustrations to guide you through the processes of felt-making.  Teachers who are new to felt-making can fully understand the process and achieve spectacular results in the classroom. The many full colour photographs of children's work and design ideas will inspire creativity, and can be used for display.  The pack contains information on the history of felt-making around the world and examples of the work of a contemporary maker.  With the exception of consumable materials and equipment the pack includes everything necessary to undertake many felt-making projects, and provides guidance for further work. Also included is a pack of postcard size photographs for further inspiration.

This 57-page A4 pack contains detailed step-by-step instructions and nearly 50 colour photographs and a number of other illustrations. It includes the following:

The pages of the Project Teaching Pack are in individual plastic sleeves to protect them against spills and damage in the classroom. The pack is in a sturdy loose-leaf folder and the A4 pages can be used for display.
