Mask courses and the Masks Project Teaching Pack are amongst our most popular themes for Key Stages 1 and 2, and can also be used as an introduction to 3-dimensional Art for Key Stage 3. Key to the success of this mask project are the templates, and this resource contains over 30 templates of masks from around the world and many colour photographs of masks. The pack also includes design guidance, materials list and detailed instructions on 3-dimensional mask making. There are full colour photographs of the process and many examples of children's work (see the masks photo gallery for more examples). With the exception of consumable materials and equipment the pack includes everything necessary to make exciting 3-dimensional masks and provides guidance for further work.
