The following is a selection of art and craft inset twilight sessions that we have
held in Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and London. They typically take place after
the end of the school day and are accompanied by detailed notes and examples. Twilights

Improving drawing in the early years
|

This twilight is aimed at the teacher who feels less confident in this area of Art. It includes strategies for teaching, what to draw, how to encourage children to draw and monitoring progression. It includes detailed handouts and informative displays, with examples of children’s work. |

Improving drawing in years 5 & 6
|
|
This twilight covers all of the important aspects of drawing in years 5 and 6 and how to extend pupils abilities. It includes developing strategies for teaching, what to draw and how to encourage different types of drawing, together with monitoring progression and the correct use of sketchbooks. It includes practical guidance on drawing techniques, detailed handouts and informative displays, with examples of children's work. |
